Tama ba ito sa mga batang dalawang taong gulang? (Is this suitable for 2 yr old children?)

WOW - we thought Halloween was a big deal in Petaluma, but it's a pretty big deal here too. In the neighborhood where we will live, everyone had great decorations. The houses that have decorations are the ones that give out treats for Halloween. In addition, every mall (there's a lot here) and club have parties. We didn't receive our shipment that had our costumes so we had to adapt and over come with some local dress up - Sophia was "Scary Spider Girl" and Aiden was "Vam-Pirate" (mommy had black eyeliner & red lipstick in her bag, those 80's goth make up skills paid off!)

We went to our health club on 10/30/10 for an amazing party called "Pirates of the Club - Rise of the Pirate King" It was an all out kid-fest! All the employees were dressed up and supported a huge scavenger hunt, that included a super cool treasure map, gifts (treats & juice) at each treasure location - such as fishing juice bottles out of the wading pool. The dungeon in the basement was pretty scary - the staff working that one really got into part - so much so that Sophi was pretty scared, they took off their masks and escorted her out :) There were kid food stations, a giant stage with singers and party games, a huge jumpy slide and lots of activities.

As we were pretty unprepared for the masses of kids in our neighborhood on 10/31, we decided to hide out in our backyard and have a pool party at our house.

Hope you all had a spooky good time!
